Does hosting already include a cert?
Many GoDaddy hosting plans include a basic cert. Buy a separate SSL SKU when you need a specific validation level, wildcard, or multi-site SAN.
Who installs it?
You (or your host) install the files GoDaddy issues. Managed SSL SKUs include GoDaddy’s setup service on that product.
Will it work off GoDaddy hosting?
Yes, if you can install a certificate on that server. The cert is not locked to GoPapa’s WordPress site.
