Who this plan is for
Use this if you want a domain at reseller rates and still want GoDaddy’s nameservers, forwarding, and account tools — not a no-name registrar with a different control panel.
Domain Alert® Pro Backorder FAQ
Is this a real GoDaddy domain?
Yes. Checkout is on secureserver.net. The domain is registered through GoDaddy as the registrar of record for that sale.
Will year-one ads on GoDaddy.com be cheaper?
Sometimes. Compare the portal cart with GoDaddy.com if you only need one year. Reseller pricing is usually the better long-term / renewal number. See the 5-year promo vs renewal math.
Can I transfer a domain I already own?
Yes. Unlock it at the current registrar, get the auth code, then start the transfer in the portal or follow our domain transfer guide.
